Concept Image/Colour Exploration

As an estuary is the unique environment in which fresh water meets sea, Estuary Women's Wellness combines health care facilities not normally be found together in hopes of creating an environment in which allows women to come together free from the stigma and stress presently found in society.

Focus: Short-Term Sexual HEalth Clinic

Focusing specifically on one area of the clinic, the Short-Term Sexual Health Clinic of Estuary looks to remove the stigmas and stereotypes existing around women’s sexual health by creating a space which simultaneously removes traditional clinical design aspects and balances the needs of users and staff.

Site

Located in the Bronte, a borough of Oakville, Estuary will capitalise on the site and its surround as it is easily accessed, while slightly removed; all-inclusive and welcoming while ensuring privacy and discretion; and well-located in the city, while also being immersed within nature.
